Etta Place One in Telluride is located at the base of Lift 7 and steps from the Telluride River Trail. Telluride, once known as the "City of Gold," attracted the legendary Butch Cassidy and, some believe, his sidekick, the Sundance Kid. The beautiful young woman who often accompanied Butch and Sundance was named Etta. To keep Telluride's folklore alive, the developers named these well designed, lift-side condominiums "Etta Place."
