Village at Northstar

The new Village at Northstar ski resort opened December 2005, featuring luxurious slope side condominiums, stylish boutiques, outdoor restaurants and an ice-skating rink surrounding a new pedestrian plaza. For skiers and boarders, the new ticketing, season pass and locker facilities will get you right on the slopes. That is, if you don't decide to linger at the s'mores kiosk, gather around a fire pit, or watch a performance on the raised stage!

Skiing in Northstar

Northstar ski resort's mix of runs is 25 percent beginner and advanced, and 50 percent intermediate. Ski or ride on 2,240 acres of terrain. There was 200 acres of advanced terrain added last winter, accessed by a new high speed quad. This terrain has a 1,200-foot vertical and a 35 percent pitch. The resort recently completed a $2.5 million updgrade to their snowmaking system.
